Why do we Americans have had sooo many serial killers?

I have this doubt since I was a teen... but WHY? greetings from Montana, US. Jeffrey Dahmer Gary Ridgway Henry Lee Lucas Aileen Wuornos Albert Fish David Parker Ray etc...etc....etc...etc

2. Because your a very big country..? There's probably just as many in China or India or Russia, but we wont know about them because it doesn't concern us.

7. Because our (Justice System) HA! Gives them a slap on the hand and tells them, "NO! NO!" Then sends them back to the streets. Or else they put them in a special room all their our, with TV, Radio, VCR, Computer, and anything else they might need, Gives them free medical assistance, and all the food they desire. WOW! WHAT A LIFE!!
8. We just don't hear about the ones from other countries as much as here. Journalism here is out of hand.
9. There may well be more per head in the UK, we have our fair share (I don't know though) It could be more to do with the fact that we catch ours quicker. We have a lot of murders but tend to lock them up before they can kill more.

15. if every 1 in 10000 people are capable of serial murder... then in a population of 10000 there would be one serial killer... so in 301,139,947 people there would be 30,113 people capable of it... the larger the population, the more people that tiny percentage counts for

17. Other countries sent their criminals over here, or they came here to escape justice in other countries.
