Do you think that Aileen Wuornos the movie "Monster" really deserved the death penalty?
If she acted in self defense or was she totally mad?

- I believe the first time was self defense, and then she completely lost it and became paranoid of men. She saw them all as rapists and murderers and she considered what she was doing self defense. I think that they should have tried to treat her in a psychiatric hospital. But, my opinions are based on what I know from the movie, which may have omitted or changed very specific and significant facts that led to the decision to initiate the death penalty.
- nah
- She was a killer, she deserved what she got. I don't care if she was paranoid of men, whatever. She killed one person in self defense, the rest were brutal murders, killing people is not ok, she deserved the death penalty. As you put is, she was totally mad.
- She deserved the death penalty. The way they portray it in the movie isn't the whole truth, movies are never completely right because Hollywood thinks they have to fabricate things to make them more interesting. Aileen killed a lot of men in cold blood, they didn't deserve to die, all she wanted was their money and cars. Anyone that could kill that many people for nothing deserves to die. Almost all serial killers had something awful done to them to make them the way they are, just because your life is shitty or something bad happend to you doesn't give them the right to take another life.
- she became a victim of her environment. no i don't think she deserved death.
