Who think Aileen Wuornos should have been executed giver her mental state of mind? It was obvious that Aileen was not sane with her last video taped interview the day before her execution. Now according to FL state law, executing someone who is insane is illegal. So she was right, we made money off her life, and her death.

I watched "Monster" (the Aileen Wuornos movie) and now I can't sleep because I can't stop thinking about it.? I watched Monster (the movie about the true story of Aileen Wuornos starring Charlize Theron) a couple of nights ago and I feel like a movie has never hit me this hard. For the last two nights I have been almost completely unable to fall asleep because I can't stop thinking about her and the life that she suffered. I'm really suffering from empathy here. I've felt depressed and teary eyed, just in general but especially when thinking about the movie (I'm sure the fatigue doesn't help this, nor does the currently awful San Francisco weather). I am completely exhausted during the day and can barely function, but when I get a chance to climb back into bed, I can't fall asleep no matter how tired I am. Anyone ever felt like this after watching a scary or otherwise hard-hitting movie? Any advice on how I can be able to get back to sleep again (with drugs being a last resort)? This has gone on for the last two days. I tried to take a nap today but I only got about 15 minutes of real sleep. I'm a second-year medical student and I really need to get sleep, otherwise I can't function in school and won't be able to study and will fail the Boards or something... ;b

She had a motive. She was cognizant and lucid. Also, the victims weren't random, they were all truck drivers, or people who picked up hitchhikers.

Tell me your opinion on The movie called "Monster"? I watched the movie "monster" based on the true story about Aileen Wuornos. She was a prostitute that killed some of her clients. I also watched the documentary about her life leading up to the murders. In my opinion she was obviously mentally ill since a young child. Now I know this is no excuse for murder but I think the death penalty was the wrong sentence to give her, Do you think she got what she deserved or that the decision to sentence was wrong? I think she needed to be locked up forever but that what she also needed was strong mental health treatment. Tell me what you think?

Will we see serial killers in Heaven? What I find unfair is how a very evil person can get into Heaven if they simply ask God to forgive them before they die. Take the serial killer Aileen Wuornos, for instance: She posed as a prostitute, luring clients with her sexual appeal. Then she would kill them shortly thereafter. She admitted to murdering 7 men and was sentenced to death. But before she died, she wrote a personal letter to God, asking for forgiveness. Accordingly, she would be allowed into Heaven, despite the fact that she murdered 7 men. However, the 7 men were in mortal sin when they died after paying for sex; thus, the victims would accordingly be in Hell.
